R.S. Hughes Company, Inc. is seeking a dynamic Inside Sales Analyst to join our national accounts team. In this role, you will work in a team environment with our national accounts inside sales and operations group based in our Portland, Oregon office, near PDX Airport. You will partner with our outside sales team, sales offices around the country and utilize our quantitative data to maintain and retain existing customers and also uncover new opportunities at target accounts and markets. We are looking for an Inside Sales Analyst to work out of our Portland, Oregon office (near PDX Airport).


  • Provide inside sales and customer service for key accounts.
  • Work closely with outside sales representatives to supply inside sales support, including: quotes, data analysis, sales reports, and lead generation.
  • Maintain existing customer price lists and assist with updating price lists to reflect periodic manufacturer price increases.
  • Monitor and audit on-time delivery and inventory levels for key accounts and parts.
  • Maintain agreement database and monitor compliance for assigned national accounts.
  • Research and develop new national account opportunities and target markets.
  • Work with corporate level contacts to assist with processing and submiting RFIs & RFQs.
  • Coordinate internally with RS Hughes offices to facilitate sales growth at multi-location customers. 


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred (RECENT COLLEGE GRADS ENCOURAGED TO APPLY)
  • Superior analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Aptitude and desire to learn advanced skills on Microsoft Excel and reporting software.
  • Attention to detail a must.
  • Ability to organize and complete multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • An ability to communicate effectively and work with management-level customer contacts.
